About Jinan

Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, is known of as the City of Springs with its 72 famous springs. Travelling in Jinan, you can view the "number one spring", Baotu Spring, visit the "world's wonder", Baimai Spring, and appreciate "spring and weeping willows in every household" in the streets of the ancient city. Daming Lake watered by many underground springs, and the Thousand-Buddha Hill in the south form a beautiful picture: "With lotus flowers on four sides, and weeping willows on three sides, the mountain is reflected in the lake." Hence the lotus was designated as the flowers of the city, and the weeping willow, the tree of Jinan.
