IUVA Symposium on UV Light and Ozone-Based Technologies for Water Treatment and Reuse
18 - 19 November 2019
The UV and ozone technologies have gained increasing interest in water treatment and reuse in various countries around the world. However, the market of UV and ozone applications in developing countries, for example, Southeast Asian are still limited. The purposes of this symposium are to provide a basic understanding of UV and ozone applications, considerations, and case studies in water treatment and reuse, to introduce state-of-the-art UV and ozone technologies, and to build a helpful and well-connected professional network between researchers and industrial sector. The possible UV applications in industries will be introduced and discussed.
Objectives:
- To examine the potential UV and ozone applications in Southeast Asian countries
- To construct a network between academic, industrial, and government in UV and ozone technology related fields for water treatment in Southeast Asian countries

Call for Abstracts
Submission Deadline: October 11, 2019
IUVA welcomes abstracts for poster presentations.
Abstracts should be submitted to secretariat email at iuva2019bkk@gmail.com by October 11, 2019.
Please follow the format below:
- Abstracts must be written in English
- Abstracts MUST NOT exceed 300 words and should include title, authors, affiliation of the authors, and mail of the corresponding author One figure or table may be included.
- The Title should be written in capital letters; followed by Author(s) name(s) and affiliation. The name of the main author must be underlined.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 11
- The abstract must be within 1 page in A4 size as max.
