2021 IUVA World Congress Call for Abstracts

The IUVA requests abstracts for both oral and poster presentations for the 2021 IUVA World Congress to be held online on June 7-8, 2021.

As new challenges continue to arise in air and surface disinfection applications, fighting infectious diseases like COVID-19, drinking water, reuse water and wastewater treatment, air pollution, hospital infections, ballast water treatment and industrial effluents, new applications emerge for UV technologies. The focus of this conference is to present the recent advancements in technology and research addressing the environmental, health, and treatment process challenges of today, as well as to discuss the current trends in UV regulations and new applications.

Please submit your abstract online by MARCH 12, 2021. The abstract length is 200-300 words (no figures) and should include full contact information for the corresponding author. After the authors are notified of acceptance, IUVA will set up a time to record the presentation. Because this will be a virtual conference, IUVA will record all presentations in advance and speakers will be required to be present during your session for Q&A. IUVA will record presentations between April 30 - June 6 and will contact speakers to assign a day and half-hour slot for recording. For proceedings, the speaker has the choice of allowing attendees to have an on-demand copy of their video recording or they must submit a PDF of their slide deck.

We encourage student submissions and a best student presentation award will be provided.

This is a technical conference and content is expected to be related to research and findings relevant to the topic list. We are also planning sessions for commercial products that may be included if information is also relevant to the list of topics.
