In November 2003, at the First Conference on UV Air Treatment held in Chicago, IL, it was decided to form a "UV Air Treatment" Topical Group, as allowed under the IUVA Bylaws. This Group is now fully active, with a large Board of Directors. The current officers are:

A major activity of the UV Air Treatment Group has been the development of a set of draft Standards and Guidelines for UV Air Treatment Systems.
