WELCOME TO THE IUVA  HAI UV Working Group Workshop

You are welcome to join us at our inaugural IUVA HAI UV Working Group Workshop for a full day of presentations at Yale University on September 27.  The meeting location will be Jane Ellen Hope Memorial Building, Lecture Hall 103, Yale School of Medicine campus

Registration is $15 for working group members, invited speakers, Federal employees and University Staff, $35 for IUVA members and $50 for non-members, but space is limited. We will begin the day at 8:15 am and wrap-up by 5:00 pm.

In addition to talks by IUVA Working Group members, speakers will include senior staff from the Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven hospital. 

Senior representatives have been invited to attend from NIST, HHS, DOE and Sandia National Laboratories.


Yale is located in New Haven, Connecticut, two-and-a-half hours south of Boston and one-and-a-half hours north of New York City. New Haven is easily accessible by car, train, bus, and airplane. Union Station is minutes from the Yale campus. Metro-North offers frequent train service between New Haven and New York City. Amtrak provides train service to New Haven from Vermont, Providence, and Boston to the north, and from Washington, D.C., to the south.

Tweed-New Haven Airport (airport code HVN), is approximately four miles from the Yale campus. It is a small regional airport serviced by American Airlines via Philadelphia. Other nearby airports include Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks, CT (53 miles to campus), LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) in New York City (72 miles to campus), Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York City (80 miles to campus), and Newark International Airport (EWR) in Newark, NJ (92 miles to campus). Amtrak provides direct train service from Newark airport to New Haven’s Union Station. For all other airports, private shuttle services are available through Connecticut Limousine (800.472.5466) and GO Airport Shuttle (866.284.3247).
